Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP)

Priority 1 - All Students Learn to Read Well

By June 2026, literacy for All Students will improve, as measured by:

  • 5% Increase, from 51% to 56% (88 to 96 students) scoring at or above proficiency on the NYs ELA Exam Results.
  • 5% decrease, from 19% to 14% (33 to 24 students) scoring level 1 on the NYS Ela exam.

Priority 2 - All Students Are Physically AND Emotionally SAFE

By June 2026, physical and mental wellness for All Students will improve, as measured by a 10% Increase, in percentage of positive responses to survey questions about safety and school climate from 65% to 75%, per the NYC School Survey Results.

Priority 3 - All Students Have a High-Quality Academic Experience

By June 2026, the percentage of students scoring at Levels 3 and 4 (Students scoring at or above grade level) will increase by 5% from 43.4% to 48% (82 to 91 students) as measured by NYS Math Results.

By June 2026, the percentage of Level 1 students will decrease by 5% from 20% to 15% (39 to 28 students), for English Language Learners (ELL), as measured by NYS Math Exam results.

By June 2026, the number of English Language Learners achieving a Commanding proficiency level will increase by 10 students, from 10 to 20 students, as measured by NYSESLAT Results.

Priority 4 - All students graduate college and career ready and have a strong plan and pathway to economic security

By June 2026, the number of students who need additional support with Responsible Decision Making will decrease by 5% from 11% to 6% as measured by the Aperture DESSA Ratings.

Priority 5 - All districts and schools are more inclusive and responsive for parents and families

By June 2026, the percentage of parents who indicated they know how to contact the Parent Coordinator will Increase by 30% from 46% to 76% as measured by NYC School Survey results.

Attendance Goal

By June 2026, the percentage of Students in Temporary Housing (STH) who are considered Chronically Absent will decrease by 6%, from 38% to 31%, as measured by the New Visions Chronic Absenteeism Reports.

High Quality Inclusive & Accessible Learning for Students with Disabilities

By June 2026, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for Students with Disabilities (SWD), we will improve

  • Alignment of IEPs across present level of performance (PLOP) by a 40% Increase, from 60% strong alignment and 40% moderate alignment to 100%, as measured by IEP Data Dashboard.
  • 100% of IEPs to include clear, specific SDI statements that directly address the skills, concepts, or strategies students need to access and progress in the general education curriculum by a 80% specific statements Increase, from 0% specific statements to improving instructional clarity and alignment with students specific needs, as measured by IEP Data Dashboard.
